Ordering
I have to know who you are, and what you want me to do for you! Please print out and complete an order form and include it in your package.
Preparation
- Do not pin or baste - all layers should be separate.
- Quilt top and backing should be carefully pressed with threads clipped and selvages removed.
- Please have top and bottom of quilt and backing cut straight and squared.
- Backstitching the final border is strongly recommended so the seams do not come loose when pulled slightly taut for quilting.
- If you provide your own batting and backing it must be at least 4 inches wider and 8 inches longer than the top.
- Please let me know if you desire a specific pattern. Otherwise, I will be happy to choose the quilting designs for you.
- We will talk by phone or email prior to loading your piece to confirm plans.
Shipping
- You do not need to send payment with your quilt. When I receive your package I will email you with an estimate and the approximate date of completion.
- Place quilt top, backing and batting (if sending your own) in a plastic bag, then box.

- While every quilt is priceless, I recommend that you insure your package for the replacement cost in case of loss or damage. I also suggest delivery confirmation.
- Cost of returning your finished quilt will of course depend on weight and location. However, you can expect $10.00 – $15.00 and it will be sent by Priority Mail with signature confirmation.
